ICT can be frustrating; you know it’s not working quite how you want it to but don’t quite have the level of understanding to really pinpoint the key issues. That’s where we can help. We offer flexible and comprehensive ICT advice to schools and MAT leaders
through our ICT Consultancy and Advice Service. This service provides an easy route to access Novatia’s expertise and advice.

We have a diverse team with significant experience and ICT expertise, meaning you can be confident that we can help with your ICT challenge no matter what it is. Our deep knowledge of the education sector and DfE expectations means that we understand the role ICT has in improving learning outcomes and can give you advice that is right for your MAT.

Some of the areas where we have provided this service are:

• Clients have smaller ICT challenges of which they aren’t perhaps sure how to resolve or need to sense check their approach.
• The Trust are in-between IT Directors but don’t want ICT to be neglected.
• The Trust are bringing in a new ICT Director and need to induct and orient them with the Trusts’ ICT, but the leadership team don’t have knowledge or the time to do this effectively.
• Some part of the Trust’s ICT isn’t working, and they need some technical advice via a helpdesk.
• There is a requirement to recruit for ICT, but the Trust leaders often don’t have technical ICT knowledge to understand what it is that they need and therefore, should be looking to recruit.

Our service

We offer the service via a varied and flexible approach which avoids tying you into any long contracts. You can access this service via:

• Pay as you go – perfect if you have irregular ICT issues.
• Pay in Advance – A set number of hours a month to contact our ICT
  experts to get advice and suggested actions.
• Retainer service – Similar to Pay in Advance with the addition of us
  undertaking some of the recommended tasks on your behalf.
• Virtual/Interim IT Director – A bespoke service based on your specific
  requirements for a minimum of three months.
• ICT Consultancy Service – This is better suited if you have a specific project
  in mind e.g.
• Recruitment & Selection – Supporting you to recruit the right IT personnel
  for the long term.
