ICT is one of the key areas where you can rationalise systems, save costs, and improve performance through Strategic ICT Procurement.

We manage procurement exercises for ICT systems and infrastructure (e.g. MIS, Broadband, Telephony, e-safety), corporate software (e.g. HR, Payroll, Finance), and ICT support services (e.g. ICT Managed Services, 3rd Line Support). We can run these as full tenders (via Find a Tender service, formally OJEU) or call-off competitions using government frameworks e.g. CCS, G-Cloud, RM6103.

Novatia manages procurement exercises for ICT systems, corporate software, and ICT support services for Multi Academy Trusts (MATs). We work as a neutral third party to provide MATs with independent technical and procurement expertise. Through stakeholder engagement, our experts, who are technical experts, ensure your requirements are fully understood and clearly specified.

Our methods ensure that the process is fully compliant with Public Contract Regulations (PCR 2015) and delivers good value for money. We offer two types of consultancy services: Full-service fulfilment or Technical Assurance.

Full-service fulfilment

This is where we manage the end-to end procurement process on your behalf. Full-service includes procurement strategy and programme, specification, tender documents all the way through to signed contract with a full audit trail.

Technical Assurance

This is more suited when a client is running the tender themselves, but they require extra support at key stages. We provide technical and procurement advice to support any aspect of the tender process.

The scope of this service is bespoke to a client’s needs e.g., we lead stakeholder engagement to define your requirements specification, or we technically evaluate tender returns or any other part of the procurement process to complement your internal capacity.
