Junior Marketing Manager

We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Junior Marketing Manager to join our team.

Novatia supports our customers’ success through our high-quality ICT advice and solutions. To maintain the continued development of our marketing to Education, Health, Custodial and Commercial clients, we are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Marketing Manager to help us in our overall marketing efforts, and with the ambition and drive to develop the role and become the company’s Marketing Manager.

The role will suit a highly adaptable person, willing to take on and learn multiple tasks at any given time. It is a varied role that can be covered using transferable skills.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Marketing Campaigns

To drive brand awareness and generate marketing qualified leads. You will be involved in the planning, segmentation, creative, execution and reporting of the campaigns.

  • Develop ideas and create the quarterly campaign program
  • Implement and further develop the Account Based Marketing strategy
  • Write and proofread marketing copy for Blogs, LinkedIn articles and Product sheets that are SEO optimised
  • Produce creative content, including video, infographics and other marketing assets
  • CRM database (HubSpot) management to maintain an accurate list of current and potential customers
  • Evaluate and review marketing campaigns and produce management reports

Website and Social Media

  • Oversee website maintenance and use the CMS to update the website with content and supporting media
  • Ensure content is SEO optimised
  • Track website performance through available analytics
  • Write, curate, post and repurpose content across our social channels
  • Seek social media contributions from the wider Novatia consultancy team

Sales Support

  • Sales Collateral; help create a wide variety of online and offline materials to support lead generation (brochures, presentations and case studies)
  • Prepare targeted staff profiles for inclusion in bids in line with branding guidelines
  • Research for bids and tenders to support identification of bid strategy
  • Manage the sales funnel in the CRM database generated from marketing efforts

You will be a driven, positive individual with excellent communication as well as first-rate administrative skills. You will also be a team player with the ability to relate to people at all levels within Novatia, client and supplier organisations. You will also be committed to Novatia's core values of excellence, respect, integrity, collaboration and creativity.

You'll need to have:

  • Experience of working in an office environment
  • 3-5 years of marketing related experience/training
  • Knowledge of marketing databases
  • Qualified to degree level (preferred)
  • CIM Professional Diploma (or equivalent) qualification (preferred)
  • Competent IT skills (including use of Office 365 and cloud-based systems)

You are creative, self-motivated and can work collaboratively to deliver high quality work.

Good interpersonal skills to form strong relationships with colleagues and clients, and with the confidence to challenge thinking to ensure the right actions are taken.

Adept project manager – able to manage multiple simultaneous projects, to take ownership of tasks and meet deadlines.

Positive attitude to work, an innovative thinker with problem-solving skills and willing to experiment with new ideas.
