Nan Fung Life Sciences Real Estate set out to develop this life sciences-related property for the UK’s innovation-driven market. This scheme would redevelop three existing commercial use buildings in Regents Quarter of Kings Cross, London, to provide laboratory accommodation, associated write-up spaces, retail unit and public realm.
The first phase of the redevelopment includes partial demolition, an additional storey, slab infills and extensions, replacement of the façade, and improvements to MEP infrastructure, delivered to a Wired Score Platinum rating.
Novatia was appointed as an ICT sub-contractor in April 2025 to deliver structured cabling, LAN, WLAN, mobile boost and telephone solutions for the landlord and tenant. The initial project later required value engineering by the client. Novatia supported the client with the redesign and was retained to deliver the modified contract for the landlord.
